WW2 Soviet heads for re-heading and kitbashing Red Army infantry: steel helmets, pilotka side caps with the red star, an ushanka fur hat, padded paratrooper helmets, and the weird war War Maidens, from the Kyoushuneko Miniatures Soviet range.

Styles

34 different heads in 7 styles, counted from the designer's files. Pick a style in the Style dropdown; each style's image guide shows every head, lettered A, B, C.

  • Infantry (Steel Helmets): 9 heads, one pool shared by the riflemen, SMG, MMG, HMG, mortar, flamethrower, panzerfaust, gun crews and assault engineers.
  • Infantry (Side Caps): 4 heads (anti-tank team, HMG and sniper team).
  • Paratroopers: 2 heads.
  • War Maidens Rifle: 9 heads (the riflewomen and their two NCOs).
  • War Maidens SMG: 5 heads.
  • War Maidens Assault Rifle: 4 heads (shared by the assault rifle and sound cannon teams).
  • Aerosan Crew (Ushanka): one head design.

Packs and ordering

  • Sold from a single head to a pack of forty.
  • A pack is an assorted mix of its style's different heads, spread evenly, so a pack of ten is not ten copies of one face.
  • To pick your own mix of heads, name it by letter in the order note, for example 10x War Maidens Rifle with "4x A, 3x B, 3x C".
  • With no note, the pack is the even mix.
  • Aerosan Crew (Ushanka): every head in the pack is the same design.

Size

At 28mm, the designer's original scale, a head stands about 5.5 mm (a War Maidens helmet) to 8 mm (the ushanka with its ear flaps) from the neck to the top. Each style is the separate head part of the matching Soviet unit files.

Printed in a blend of Fast and Tenacious resins in our signature Navy Grey for fine detail and durability, then thoroughly cleaned, professionally cured, and ready for priming and painting. Some assembly may be required; super glue is recommended.
