The trumpeter figure is a bare-headed male with a stern focused expression, wearing a fitted brigandine coat with overlapping riveted plate panel rows, a wide leather belt with a short narrow-bladed sword scabbard at the hip, articulated arm plating, tall wide-cuffed boots, and a short plain cloak swept back over one shoulder, standing in a wide composed stride with both arms raised and extended forward gripping a long straight trumpet or bugle with a wide flared bell aimed forward in a sounding pose with both cheeks puffed.
The officer figure is a bare-headed bearded male with a stern open-mouthed commanding expression, wearing a wide-brimmed round hat with a large dramatic multi-layered feathered plume crest of broad overlapping feathers sweeping upward and back from the crown, a fitted brigandine coat with overlapping riveted plate panel rows, a wide cross-body diagonal sash or baldric, a wide leather belt with a square buckle, articulated arm plating, and tall wide-cuffed boots, standing in a wide dynamic planted stride with one arm raised high overhead gripping a long straight sword with a simple cross-guard held aloft in a rallying pose and the other arm extended at the side carrying a large round shield with a flat face and a decorative laurel wreath relief on the face.
