WW2 Australian heads for re-heading and kitbashing Australian infantry in the Pacific: slouch hats with the brim up or down, camouflage-netted steel helmets, commando berets with headbands, and bare-headed Papuan infantry, from the Kyoushuneko Miniatures WW2 Australia range.

Styles

24 different heads in 4 styles, counted from the designer's files. Pick a style in the Style dropdown; each style's image guide shows every head, lettered A, B, C.

  • Infantry (Slouch Hats): 7 heads, one pool shared by the infantry teams, gun crews and Bush Walker crews.
  • Infantry (Netted Helmets): 4 heads.
  • Commandos: 9 heads (berets with headbands, some bearded or moustached).
  • Papuan Infantry: 4 heads.

The slouch hat pool covers the riflemen, SMG, anti-tank, flamethrower, grenade, HMG, mortar, PIAT, sniper, scout, officer, 25 pounder and Bofors gun teams.

Packs and ordering

  • Sold from a single head to a pack of forty.
  • A pack is an assorted mix of its style's different heads, spread evenly, so a pack of ten is not ten copies of one face.
  • To pick your own mix of heads, name it by letter in the order note, for example 10x Commandos with "4x A, 3x B, 3x C".
  • With no note, the pack is the even mix.

Size

At 28mm, the designer's original scale, a head stands about 6 mm (a bare head) to 9 mm (a slouch hat) from the neck to the top. Each style is the separate head part of the matching WW2 Australia unit files.

Printed in a blend of Fast and Tenacious resins in our signature Navy Grey for fine detail and durability, then thoroughly cleaned, professionally cured, and ready for priming and painting. Some assembly may be required; super glue is recommended.
