Mercenary archers for late medieval historical tabletop wargaming. Six distinct bowmen in kettle helms and bascinets with mail aventails, worn over brigandines, padded jacks and short jupons, three of them with plate leg harness; bow, arrows, quiver and a sidearm are sculpted with each figure, and the strung war bow stands taller than the archer. Three are drawn to the ear, one has the bow held ready with an arrow nocked, one reaches back for a shaft and one carries the bow across the body. Missile infantry for a Bohemian, German, Polish or Hungarian army of the 1400s to 1430s, Hussite Wars included; the Early 15th Century Men-at-Arms, the Early 15th Century Halberdiers and the rest of the Late Medieval Central Europe range fit alongside.
Sold as singles, a complete set of all six, or units of 10 and 20. Each archer is one piece, bow included. About 33 mm tall to the top of the helm at 30mm, the original scale, the bow reaching about 45 mm; suits a 20 or 25 mm round or square base.
