Each figure grips a long pole weapon in a two-handed grip in a varied mix of halberds with a broad axe blade, rear spike, and top spear point, and glaives with a wide curved single-edged blade and top spear point, held at varying angles including raised overhead, angled diagonally across the body, and leveled forward, creating a dense layered thicket of pole weapon heads effect throughout the formation.
