Styles
22 different heads in 4 styles, counted from the designer's files. Pick a style in the Style dropdown; each style's image guide shows every head, lettered A, B, C.
- Infantry (Steel Helmets): 10 heads, one pool shared by the infantry, support teams, gun crews and mounted troops.
- 88th Division: 6 heads (A to D German-style steel helmets, E a gas mask under a steel helmet, F a gas mask under a field cap).
- Cavalry and NCOs (Field Caps): 5 heads (A to C the mounted troopers and 88th Division, D the mounted NCO in goggles, E the infantry NCO).
- Tank Commander: one head design (the light tank commander in a goggled crew helmet).
The steel helmet pool covers the riflemen, SMG, Dao swordsmen, LMG, HMG, MMG, mortar, forward observer, sniper, flamethrower, artillery, anti-tank, grenade, Pak 36 and pack mule teams, and the mounted riflemen, SMGs and Dadao swordsmen.
Packs and ordering
- Sold from a single head to a pack of forty.
- A pack is an assorted mix of its style's different heads, spread evenly, so a pack of ten is not ten copies of one face.
- To pick your own mix of heads, name it by letter in the order note, for example 10x Infantry (Steel Helmets) with "4x A, 3x B, 3x C".
- With no note, the pack is the even mix.
- Tank Commander: every head in the pack is the same design.
Size
At 28mm, the designer's original scale, a head stands about 6 mm (a field cap or 88th Division helmet) to 7 mm (a brimmed steel helmet or crew helmet) from the chin to the top. Each style is the separate head part of the matching WW2 China unit files.
