WW2 Imperial Japanese Army heads for re-heading and kitbashing IJA infantry: Type 90 steel helmets with the star and neck cloth, camouflage-netted helmets, field caps with neck flaps, bare heads and headbands, and goggled tank crew helmets, from the Kyoushuneko Miniatures Imperial Japanese Army range.

Styles

22 different heads in 5 styles, counted from the designer's files. Pick a style in the Style dropdown; each style's image guide shows every head, lettered A, B, C.

  • Infantry (Steel Helmets): 8 heads, one pool shared by the riflemen, SMG, bicycle infantry, MMG, HMG, mortar, sniper, scout and Type 94 gun crews.
  • Infantry (Netted Helmets): 6 heads.
  • Infantry (Field Caps): 2 heads.
  • Bamboo Unit: 3 heads (bare heads and a headband).
  • Tank and Vehicle Crew: 3 heads (two tank commanders in goggled crew helmets, the armored car gunner in a gas mask).

Packs and ordering

  • Sold from a single head to a pack of forty.
  • A pack is an assorted mix of its style's different heads, spread evenly, so a pack of ten is not ten copies of one face.
  • To pick your own mix of heads, name it by letter in the order note, for example 10x Infantry (Steel Helmets) with "4x A, 3x B, 3x C".
  • With no note, the pack is the even mix.

Size

At 28mm, the designer's original scale, a head stands about 7 mm (a bare head) to 9 mm (a steel helmet with its neck cloth) from the neck to the top. Each style is the separate head part of the matching Imperial Japanese Army unit files.
