Norse huscarl heavy cavalry for fantasy tabletop wargaming. Seven distinct armoured riders in mail, fur and horned helms on four barded warhorse sculpts with horned chamfrons, fur and mail caparisons. Riders A to E have an open weapon hand and a shield arm; two cavalry spear arms and four shield designs, Shield A to D, are supplied, the shields shown on their own sheet in the gallery. Name your shield style in the personalization or order notes box at checkout and we fit that one to every rider; leave it blank and we send an assortment. Riders F and G carry their spear sculpted in place, one couched and one held two-handed over the saddle. Rider and horse are separate pieces. The arm socket is the same as the Norse Huscarls on foot, so that set's axes, flails, hammers and swords fit these riders too. Shock cavalry for a Norse or northern barbarian army, or as chaos knight and marauder horsemen proxies.

Sold as singles, a complete set of all seven, or units of 10 and 20, each as the complete rider and horse, the rider only or the horse only. The With Command tiers count the Mounted Norse Huscarls Command Group (captain, bannerman and musician) inside the total: 10 w/ Command = 7 huscarls + 3 command, 20 w/ Command = 17 huscarls + 3 command. Footprint about 50 x 20 mm per horse at 32mm, the original scale; suits a 25 x 50 mm cavalry base.

Scale & Sizing

Scaled to the designer's specifications. Most miniatures suit 28–32mm collections unless otherwise noted, though exact size and proportions may vary by sculptor and range. We cannot guarantee an exact size match with miniatures from other designers or manufacturers.

High-Detail Printing

Printed in a blend of Fast and Tenacious resins in our signature Navy Grey for fine detail and durability, then thoroughly cleaned, professionally cured, and ready for priming and painting. Some assembly may be required; super glue is recommended.
