Sunland Troops - Halberds

A Sunland Renaissance-era halberdier regiment miniature unit featuring approximately twenty bearded male figures ranked in a dense dynamic close-order formation on a wide flat rectangular regiment base, each wearing a varied combination of tall conical nasal helms with cheek guards, close-fitting kettle helmets with short brims, and wide wrapped turbans with short feathered plume crests, over padded coats or brigandine jackets with wide leather belts and short scabbarded side arms at the hip, with varied open-mouthed battle cry and stern grimace facial expressions throughout.

Each figure grips a long pole weapon in a two-handed grip in a varied mix of halberds with a broad axe blade and rear spike, glaives with a wide curved single-edged blade, and pole axes with a broad axe head and top spike, held at varying angles including leveled forward at hip height in a braced push pose, raised overhead in a downward strike pose, and angled diagonally across the body in an advancing port arms pose, creating a dense layered thicket of pole weapon heads effect throughout the formation.

The front rank includes a drummer figure wearing a kettle helmet and a padded coat with both arms extended gripping a pair of drumsticks over a small round side drum with riveted rim banding hanging at the waist, and a standard bearer figure positioned at the right flank wearing a conical nasal helm and a padded coat gripping a tall standard pole with a large blank rectangular banner cloth with a natural flat hanging drape, all ranked on a wide flat rectangular base sized for standard rank-and-flank wargame compatibility.

Well-suited for Sunland halberdier, pole arm infantry, and close-combat regiment roles in historical fantasy wargames, rank-and-flank tabletop games, and large-scale army display builds.

This is a physical 3D printed model. Miniatures are typically printed in resin, while terrain is usually printed in filament (PLA), with some smaller or highly detailed parts produced in resin. No digital files or STL downloads are included.

Scale & Compatibility

Scaled to the designer’s specifications for tabletop wargames, skirmish games, roleplaying games, and display. Most miniatures are suited for 28–32mm style collections unless otherwise noted, but exact size and proportions may vary by sculptor and range. We cannot guarantee an exact match with miniatures from other designers or manufacturers.

High-Detail Printing

Printed in high-resolution resin or filament to capture crisp details and clean surface definition. Models are professionally cured, require minimal cleanup, and arrive ready for assembly and painting. Assembly may be required; super glue is recommended.
